Redfish have become one of the highly most sought after game fish by light tackle enthusiasts for a few reasons. They will take a large variety of artificial lures and flies. They will test not only your casting skills but how you handle a powerful adversary with a fishing rod. That is why I tell most of my charters we are not out here trying to catch reds, we are out here to see if one will catch us. Something you should know before you book a trip with me. I am an old school sight fishing guide. I do not bump fish, throw cut bait or chase reds around with a trolling motor. I stalk redfish from a platform on the flats. I work with my clients to help them get the shot and make the memories that last a lifetime. This technique is a different form of fishing to most but it is also the most rewarding. When you sight fish a red you have snuck up on him, made the cast and teased him into thinking that what you have to offer is what he wants to eat. If

I have a passion for helping people catch the fish. There is no greater thrill for me than to watch someone when they get their first hookup with one of these bulls. No one ever anticipates how hard these fish pull drag. If you've fished reds before with light tackle great. It is always nice having someone on the boat that knows the game. I

If you have sight fished before here is something you'll love. Nothing on my deck to get in your way. Besides, I'm a poling purist. I come from the old school of sight fisherman. It is all about stealth and the thrill of the chase. Trust me, when you sight fish with me you'll never look at fishing the same again. When you fish with me expect to be provided with everything I expect when I hire a guide. You can always count on:
Most of the redfish we have caught over the past 5 years have averaged 35 inches with a few up to 55 inches. (They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well here's a few million. Click Here and see for yourself). When the conditions are right, you can spot these monsters feeding on the flats 200 yards away. With the fish in your site, you sneak up on them, cast you line, and hold on. These fish are a absolute blast to catch on light tackle. After fighting a big red, you can count on going home with a sore arm. I am a full time U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain with over 35 years experience fishing the Indian and Banana Rivers from Titusville to Cocoa Beach for redfish, trout, snook and tarpon. I currently fish from a 2005 Famous Craft 1800XL with a 2005 Mercury 115 hp OptiMax Saltwater. It is one of the most comfortable and driest flats boats on the market. I will provide the following...
